Our Show Choir is where music, movement, and performance come together to create unforgettable experiences. Members develop strong vocal technique, dynamic choreography, and confidence while working as part of a supportive and dedicated ensemble.
Whether performing on stage, at community events, or in special productions, our students are challenged to grow as both performers and individuals. Show Choir emphasizes teamwork, creativity, discipline, and the joy of live performance.
No matter your experience level, if you have a passion for singing, dancing, and entertaining an audience, Show Choir is a place to learn, grow, and shine.
Rehearsal Schedule: Fridays, 5:00–7:00 PM
Season: September 2026–May 2027
Audition Information
Ready to take the stage? We welcome students who are passionate about singing, performing, and being part of an energetic, supportive team. Our auditions are designed to help us get to know you and provide an opportunity for you to showcase your personality, musicality, and performance potential.
No prior show choir experience is required. We encourage anyone with enthusiasm, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude to audition. During the audition process, you may be asked to sing a prepared or assigned selection, learn a short choreography routine, and participate in a brief group or individual evaluation.

- Group and/or individual auditions

Before You Audition
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes suitable for movement.
- Bring a positive attitude and be ready to have fun.
- Students should prepare up to 1 minute of a musical number to sing at auditions.
- Song Choice: Choose a song that showcases your voice and personality. Your selection may come from Broadway, Pop, CCM, Traditional Choral music, or another appropriate musical style.
- Accompaniment: Please bring your instrumental/karaoke track on a phone or other device. Bluetooth speakers will be available, but students are welcome to bring their own if they have one.
- Classical/Choral Selections: Students performing a classical or traditional choral piece may bring sheet music to read from. Students may also choose to perform their selection a cappella.
We believe every performer has something unique to offer, and auditions are about discovering your potential as much as evaluating your current skills. We look forward to meeting you and welcoming the next generation of performers to our Show Choir family.
HIDDEN CACTUS THEATRE upholds an honor code wherein no roles are precast unless explicitly stated in the audition notice. Additionally, there may be occasions where we reach out to the public for additional actors following auditions to complement the overall cast. We prioritize candidates who attend auditions, showcasing their commitment and dedication, before extending outreach further. Furthermore, HIDDEN CACTUS THEATRE strictly prohibits discrimination based on national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex, and familial status.
