Overview
Beauty is in the eye of the ogre in Shrek The Musical KIDS, based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks Animation film and fantastic Broadway musical. It’s a “big bright beautiful world” as everyone’s favorite ogre, Shrek, leads a cast of fairytale misfits on an adventure to rescue a princess and find true acceptance. Part romance and part twisted fairy tale, Shrek KIDS is an irreverently fun show with a powerful message for the whole family.

Costumes & Production Style
Each camper will wear a camp-provided T-shirt as their costume.
Staging will be limited to support a fast paced summer theatre camp–style production, while still delivering a full performance experience on stage 🎭✨

Each family receives two complimentary tickets. Additional tickets are available for $8 each.
Everyone who registers will be cast in the show. Enrollment is limited to ensure every child has a chance to shine, regardless of role 🌟

Tuition Options
Option A: $375 discounted rate if registered by April 1st
Option B: $100 deposit to lock in the $375 rate, with the remaining balance due by May 15th
Option C: After April 1st, tuition increases to $425

Some campers may be called back for specific roles and/or a lead singing rehearsal.

Character Breakdown:
HIDDEN CACTUS THEATRE upholds an honor code wherein no roles are precast unless explicitly stated in the audition notice. Additionally, there may be occasions where we reach out to the public for additional actors following auditions to complement the overall cast. We prioritize candidates who attend auditions, showcasing their commitment and dedication, before extending outreach further. Furthermore, HIDDEN CACTUS THEATRE strictly prohibits discrimination based on national origin, race, color, religion, disability, sex, and familial status.
